Winter Break 2011

We spent the end of 2011 with Anne's kids being home. Andrew was home from college and Logen made a quick trip from Deleware. We also were able to see Jake and Christina and thier kids for a short visit and have plans to see Jerome's other grand daughters soon. Our blended family is such a special blessing to us!

Deer Season 2011

The 2011 Deer season found Jerome and I both up north at bro-in-laws cabin joinded by his brother Gene and son Jake getting ready for the big hunt. I joined Jerome in his blind on opening day Nov. 15th. We heard the first shots ring out at 7:18 am. I shot my buck at 7:26am. It was the first time I have ever hunted, first time I ever shot a buck and I was excited! The rest of the week was not as productive...but it sure was great fun the first day!

Mom's memorial...

April 2011~our beloved mother and grandmother passed away unexpectedly. For her memorial all the children (6 of us) were able to gather together in Virginia in May 2011. Brothers from California and Arizona flew in, daughter from Kentucky arrived and we drove/flew to Virginia for the exteneded weekend. Mom would have LOVED to have been there sharing stories and memories. It was a good time to reflect and reconnect with those we hadn't seen in such a long time. You will never be forgotten mom, we love and miss you very much!
