Locks of Love

Kami and I spent the afternoon getting her hair cut and styled. Her hair was long enough to donate to Locks of Love ~ http://www.locksoflove.org/ The style turned out so good and she was really pleased with the results (so was her mother!) This was Kami's second time donating. She did it about 3 years ago also. I'm so proud of her!

Jerome and I zipped up for another work weekend. We have the stairs completed, the deck is done, but there is a side rail that we have to put up. He has some roof repairs to do and put in a different stove. My job of carpentry has ended for the year. It is quite cozy and warm inside. And now I can climb the stairs with confidence to get up to the treehouse~I mean deer blind.






This is the view from off the deck across the tops of the trees. As the leaves turn colors it is quite a spectacular site!

Nearing completion

Jerome and I spent another beautiful weekend up north working on the deck and his stairs off of his blind. We had wonderful weather to work in and the sunshine made for very pleasant days. We love going up north~so relaxing and peaceful...thanks so much Gene for allowing us the privilege!
