GRADUATION DAY FOR LOGEN
The day started early for Logen. He had practise at the college field house at 8:30am. He then had a break before picking Andrew up from school. The headed to the house about 3pm as I was on my way to get Kami and Jordan. We arrived home and started getting changed when Jerome came home early. A quick shower for Logen and then suited up as a sharp looking grad should be. Then it was time for pictures. I had prewarned the children that this was a night of a hundred photos. Smiles galore were expected by everyone :). I must say they shined like stars. After photos here it was off to dinner and then picking up a friend of Logen's. We arrived at the college about 6:10 and into the fieldhouse we went. Logen played with the symphonic band along with the other seniors for one set of songs. The procession started and in walked the graduates. Many minutes later and the diplomas are being bestoed upon the young men and women. The whole ceremony lasted about an hour and 1/2. Then it was post ceremony picture time, more smiles all around :). Logen was off to Grad Night with his friends and we were off to home and cheesecake for desert. I am now officially a parent of a highschool graduate. I remeber all too well his first day of school and every year inbetween. I am SO proud of him and look forward to his future as well. Only 3 more to get to this point. Enjoy the pics~I know I enjoyed taking them!

Dixie Jazz Band
Logen and his classmate practice before their concert.
These are the sax players: Alto, Bass and Tenor
Logen and his saxaphone
In April Logen had his final concert of the year and of his high school career . This year he joined the Dixie Jazz Band. He was able to go to Ann Arbor and play with some professionals as well as the local Meijer Gardens. He and the group sound very good and all play well. I am VERY proud of how he has kept up his playing and how well he has excelled at it.
