SkyBox-Hunter Boy Blind Way Up High

We spent this past weekend up north working on Jerome's Skybox. Jordan wanted to conquer his fear of climbing up into the blind. We started with a ladder from home propped up against the wood ladder and that helped alot. He was very proud of himself. If anyone is wondering what happened to his hair...he dyed it jet black the week before school started. It is starting to grow out now and at we cut it shorter the red will be back. Jerome and I think two-tone is a better name for him right now, he doesn't think so

This is the view from the shooting window inside the blind.

We put up the inuslation and installed all the windows.

Here is the caution sign someone posted when they tried to climb up.
It truely exceeds 90*.

The days work pooped out Maggie and Kami.

This is the view from the doorway looking east.
It is a beautiful view from this perch!!

Jordan before his climb, you can see how far dow he is.
Regular lense vs. telephoto.

Kami, thrilled to be here, bored like any teenage girl, gotta love it!

This is a great trailer that Jerome's brother Gene had made to go on the back of the quad. It worked wonderfully! No more carrying out the supplies to the blind from the road. Thanks Gene!!
