"A Camping We Will Go...."
.....a camping we will go...hi ho the dairy-o...a camping we will go". Jerome and I have "finally arrived" in the camping world of luxury. This spring we have purchased a 2007 Gulfstream Innsbruck 5th Wheel camper. We have been looking for a number of years, planning, saving, planning, looking. Each year we attend the RV expos downtown, walk the camp grounds, peruse the catalogs finding the things we like, we don't like and what we could compromise on. This year things fell into place for us so hence our purchase. It is BEAUTIFUL! I am sooo anxious to get it out to the camp grounds and play! We have at least two trips planned for the summer, but more are on the horizon!!Here is the side we enter on. It was in a garage getting ready to roll, so the awning isn't drawn down yet.
This is view looking towards the back. Behind the large door is a bunk house with a set of bunks that has a double on bottom and twin on top. There is also a cabinet with a cable hookup for a TV. The small door is for veryyy tinyyy people... :) It's actually a pantry.
The sink and stove.
The dinette and the couch. This whole section is a slide out. We slid it in and then back out and WHOA what a difference that makes!!
This is the bike door that leads from the bunk house to the outside. Both bunks lift up and latch so we can store the bikes and other supplies while we travel.
Looking at the kitchen from the bunkhouse end. There are high ceilings which is nice for Jerome, but we have already purchased a portable step stool for me to be able to reach inside the microwave and cabinets.
High ceilings-a plus!
The main bedroom boasts a queen size bed, bedside table/cabinets, overhang cabinets and a shelf that is cable ready for a TV in our room.
Looking out of our room into the vanity area. There is a full shower/bath on the opposite side to the wall. There is also an outside shower to rinse off sand, mud, and dirt.
Here is the couch. It rolls out to a double bed. Under the bed is more storage that is also accessible from the outside.
