Kodiak Clan: Summer Fun with Family~2009

August 2009 found my mom, my sister Steph~her hubby Chuck and their children Kenny, Jenny and Sammi out for a two week visit. During their visit we were able to orchestrate a mini family reunion. Our cousin Tommy was able to join us for the day/night from Ann Arbor. He brought his two children Lilly and Jack. We haven't seen him in a number of years and have never met his children so this was a special treat. My mom and he were able to spend a good amount of time catching up on old times. He is the son of my late aunt and uncle who were my mom's brother and sister-in-law. Jerome's side of the family was equally represented. His brother Steve and girl-friend Lacy joined us with Jerome's grand-daughters Jenae and Jenessa. Sammi, Jenny, Lilly and Jenae played really well with each other. We had them downstairs with tons of Barbie's and they were all set. Jake and Christina were here as well with their boys Jayden and Tristan. Throw into the mix my Andrew, Kami and Jordan and you have a grand ole' time. The house was full, the food was plenty, the drinks were flowing and laughter was ringing throughout the festivities. Jerome and I finished the day feeling very blessed to have such wonderful family surrounding us!
